I am A 68 year old retired male who spends his free time on the computer and with his faithful companion, Tigger, my dog and my youngest Godchild, Mac. Tigger is a rescue dog from the pound, a Collie, Sheppard, Husky cross. I am fortunate to have Tigger who is willing to travel with me constantly since she was eight months old. We spend our summers in Southern Ontario, Canada and our winters along the Gulf coast of Southern Florida.
We have traveled from Florida along the Gulf coast to Arizona. Up to the Grand Canyon, Utah, Colorado, Illinois and finally back to the Canadian boarder.
We have also traveled from Cape Code up the Atlantic coast to New Brunswick, Canada, Gaspe Bay Peninsula Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton island, Newfoundland, across Labrador and home back through Quebec.
One trip that she was not able to go with me was to China, Hong Kong and Thailand. She was looked after, while I was away, by two great little boys who love her to death. My Godchildren.
A trip we are planning in the near future is to follow Route 66 from South of Chicago to San Diego following the original route. It would be great if the four of us could make it together.
My other great passion is Videography. I have been traveling to the small Island of Montserrat in the Caribbean since 1969. I fell in love with the place one my first visit. To me it is paradise. In July of 1995, a dormant volcano, on the island came back to life. It is still active. The southern half of the island has been destroyed. When the volcano goes back to sleep in the future, the southern part of the island will become inhabitable again but will look entirely different. This could be in another ten or one hundred years. But it will come back.
Over the years, during my visits, I have taken many photographs and miles of videotape. I have tried to put these tapes and photographs together in a story depicting Montserrat before and after the volcano. These video clips are on You Tube.
If you would like to take a more in depth look at Montserrat before and after the volcano, visit my blog below

Thanks for sharing your videos on Montserrat! They are quite delightful!
Hugs,
Megan
