My Personal fight With Bladder Cancer Since 2000 -|Diagnosis |Surgery | Chemotherapy | Remission| - “We are only here for a little while”.

Welcome To My Blog

N. MacDonaldThis blog is a personal account of my progress from being diagnosed with bladder cancer in July 2000 to the present. I am in remission.

The purpose of this, blog, is to help those who have been recently diagnosed with bladder cancer or any other type of cancer or those that have been fighting for years but lack confidence about the outcome to cope with this devastating disease. Perhaps my experiences over the past almost eight years can bring some comfort. THERE IS HOPE. I feel that I am an example of that. I am still here after eight years.

I AM ENCOURAGING those people who have experience with this disease to SHARE those experiences, your thoughts and feeling with those who are just starting to fight this disease. Even I have just experienced a problem that I need help solving. More about my problem, later in a post. What are your problems? EMAIL me and I will post your thoughts, problems (only dealing with bladder cancer), and whatever suggestions that you might have. ONLY your FIRST NAME and CITY will be published. I do not believe in spam and your information will NEVER be shared with ANYONE. This I promise. I am too old to start playing games. Lets hear from you.

For some reason, since being diagnosed, I have had this running through my mind.

“One day at a time sweet Jesus

That’s all I’m asking from you .

Give me the strength to do every day

What I have to do .

Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus

And tomorrow may never be mine.

Help me today, show me the way one day at a time.”
